Susan Bryan, RMT

Susan Bryan is a RMT and has lived in Calgary since 1982. Sue has been passionate about massage therapy for many years and so in 2009 she enrolled at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary. She graduated in June 2011 and received her diploma in the 2200 hour RMT program.

Sue received training in Relaxation Massage, Swedish Massage, Hydro Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and Massage for Pregnant Women. In May 2012 Sue completed Myofascial Release Level 1, instructed by John Barnes. This type of massage has become a very important aspect of Sue’s practice. In May 2013 Sue completed a certificate in Energy Work with Gaye Hansen that focused on Shananism. Sue is a member in good standing of NHPC since 2011.

Sue is excited to be working within the community at Balanced Health and Sports Therapy. The clinic has a great team atmosphere and share the same views regarding their client’s health and healing education needs. Sue's philosophy is that if the body has good nutrition, exercise and stress relief through various natural modalities, the body can heal itself without drugs or invasive surgeries.

Sue lives her philosophy by staying active. She has completed two half marathons and one full marathon in Edmonton. She is passionate about yoga and practices as often as her schedule allows. When Sue is not working or volunteering, you may see her running or biking on the paths around the neighborhood.

Sue has given back to her community by volunteering for HH/BH, AA Ringette, Alberta/Calgary Volleyball, Special Olympics, Track and Field Championships and charity runs throughout Calgary.
